Shanghai Yiyou Metal Products Co., Ltd. was established on November 16, 1995. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly invested in and established by Shanghai Yuejin Co., Ltd. of Bright Food Group and Nippon Steel Trading Corporation. Nippon Steel Trading Corporation holds 85%, while Shanghai Yuejin Co., Ltd. of Bright Food Group holds 15%. The registered address is Xinghuo Development Area, Fengxian District, Shanghai.
Business scope: manufacturing and sales of metal chains and other metal products, manufacturing and sales of metal structures, manufacturing and sales of metal materials, import and export of goods, general goods warehousing services and more.
Yiyou is Nippon Steel Trading Group's only steel-coil processing center in East China, upholding the principles of high quality and efficiency. Nippon Steel Trading Corporation was founded in 1977. The Group has more than 6,000 employees and is one of the world's leading general trading companies. Its business spans 18 countries and 33 cities worldwide, and it is highly respected in the steel industry for its high-quality service system and global business network. Drawing on its close cooperation with Nippon Steel Trading, Yiyou supplies high-quality steel raw materials to customers worldwide.

History
Since its founding in 1995, Plant 1 and Plant 2 have come on stream; in 2023 our parent company, Nippon Steel Trading, became a consolidated subsidiary of Nippon Steel Corporation.

Shanghai Yiyou established
Shanghai Yiyou was established with 60% investment from Sumikin Bussan and 40% from Bright Food Group Shanghai Jingyi Co.
1997.01
Plant 1 opened
Plant 1 opened, focusing primarily on stainless steel products.
1998.04
Shares transferred
Shanghai Jingyi Co. transferred all of its shares to Bright Food Group Yuejin General Company.
1999.02
Sumikin Bussan increases stake
Sumikin Bussan acquired a 25% stake from Yuejin General Company.
2013.01
Plant 2 opened
Plant 2 opened, focusing on ordinary and special steels for automobiles.
2013.10
Company renamed
Sumikin Bussan merged with Nippon Steel Trading, and the company was renamed Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan.

Renamed Nippon Steel Trading
Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan was renamed Nippon Steel Trading.

Nippon Steel Trading joins Nippon Steel
